Last Friday (27/03/09), my Library made a small farewell party special dedicated to my beloved Boss, Mr. Adnan Sharif. He’s leaving because he has been promoted! My Chief Librarian has transferred him to another branch of our libraries. That was the great party that we ever had since I joined this Library. The party was simple however the “mood” that we all felt was the best part of that moment.
I’m writing this special for my boss. Let me tell you how special my boss is!
I feel lucky and excited to get new job at USM. Meanwhile, I also feel great responsibilities on my shoulder. I joined this library since 1 1/2 years ago. There are many difficulties and challenges ahead of me. However, I’m very confident under the leadership of Mr. Adnan, everything will run smoothly. And yes, within these times, I’m really happy to work with him. Knowing him is the best part of my journey.
He is the best leader that I ever known. He’s very encouraging person. He loves to share his knowledge and information that he knows. With his 17 years experiences in the Library field, no doubt he can answer any questions in my head. Well, he also loves to talk about socials and politics too. Ask him anything on these issues, definitely he will answers you with a great sample of stories.
My dear boss, I also know you as a good person at heart. You always give me advice and support. You never complained about us. However, you love to compliment and smile at us. That’s the most special about you.
Good advices from him to me “We must always have good expectations about others, always forgive others AND Don’t be afraid to be the first one to apologize…….”
Finally, I would like to thank to Mr. Adnan for your support and guidance. Congratulation and good luck for new position!
